Data Protection and Google Sign-In

1. Introduction

Digitalboxes respects your privacy and limits the personal information collected through our AI tools to what is reasonably necessary to provide secure access, manage usage and protect the tools against misuse.

This page explains what information we receive and what happens when you use “Sign in with Google” to access a Digitalboxes AI tool.

2. Information We Receive

When you sign in with Google, Google and our authentication provider may provide limited account and authentication information, including:

• your name
• your email address
• your Google profile picture, if available
• a unique authentication identifier
• your authentication provider
• account creation and last sign-in timestamps

Google Sign-In confirms that you control the Google account used to access the tool. It is not proof of your legal identity and should not be treated as a complete human-verification system.

3. Information We Do Not Access

Digitalboxes does not request access to:

• Gmail messages, attachments, drafts or sent emails
• Gmail or Google contacts
• Google Drive files
• Google Photos
• Google Calendar
• YouTube account data
• your Google password
• payment information
• other private content stored in your Google account

Digitalboxes does not request Gmail API permissions or offline access to your Google account for authentication.

Your Google password is entered directly through Google’s authentication service. Digitalboxes does not receive, view or store your Google password.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the limited information received through Google Sign-In to:

• create and identify your Digitalboxes tool account
• allow you to sign in securely
• provide access to the requested AI tool
• apply usage limits where necessary
• protect our tools against spam, fraud and misuse
• troubleshoot authentication or account-access problems
• maintain the security and reliability of our services

Your Google Sign-In email address will not be added to a marketing or newsletter list unless you provide separate and explicit consent.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.

5. AI Tool Inputs

Information you enter into an AI tool, such as keywords, topics, prompts or uploaded content, is separate from the basic account information received through Google Sign-In.

You should not enter passwords, payment details, confidential business information or sensitive personal information into an AI tool unless the tool clearly states that the information is required and explains how it will be processed.

6. Authentication and Session Security

Digitalboxes uses Google Sign-In and Firebase Authentication to manage account authentication.

While you are signed in, the tool may maintain an authentication session in your browser so that you can continue using it without signing in repeatedly.

When you select “Sign out,” the active Digitalboxes tool session on that browser ends. Signing out does not provide Digitalboxes with access to your Gmail messages or other private Google services.

If you forget to sign out, your browser may remain authenticated depending on the tool’s session settings. This still does not allow Digitalboxes to read or operate your Gmail account. However, another person using the same device and browser may be able to access the Digitalboxes tool through your signed-in session.

You should always sign out when using a shared or public device.

7. Access When You Are Not Using the Tool

Digitalboxes does not request offline access to Gmail or other private Google services.

We cannot send emails from your Gmail account, read your messages, access your Google files or perform actions within your Google account, whether you are signed in, signed out or have forgotten to sign out of the Digitalboxes tool.

A limited Digitalboxes authentication record may remain after you sign out. This record identifies your tool account but does not provide access to your Gmail content or other private Google services.

8. Data Storage and Retention

Authentication information may be stored securely through Firebase Authentication and related Digitalboxes systems for as long as your tool account remains active or the information is reasonably required to operate and protect the service.

We may retain limited security or technical records where reasonably necessary to:

• prevent fraud or repeated misuse
• investigate security incidents
• meet legal or regulatory requirements
• resolve disputes
• enforce our Terms of Use

When information is no longer required, it will be deleted, anonymised or retained only where legally necessary.

9. Third-Party Service Providers

Digitalboxes may use trusted service providers to operate its AI tools, including:

• Google Sign-In
• Google Firebase
• website hosting and cloud infrastructure providers
• AI model or API providers
• security and analytics services

These providers may process limited information on our behalf in accordance with their own terms, privacy policies and security obligations.

Google’s handling of information during the sign-in process is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

10. Removing Google Access and Deleting Your Account

You can review or remove Digitalboxes from the third-party connections section of your Google Account.

Removing the connection prevents future Google authorisation through that connection. It does not automatically delete information already stored in your Digitalboxes authentication record.

To request deletion of your Digitalboxes tool account and associated personal information, email [email protected].

Please send the request from the same email address used to access the tool so that we can verify account ownership.

11. Your Data Protection Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to:

• request access to your personal information
• correct inaccurate personal information
• request deletion of your information
• restrict or object to certain processing
• withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
• request a portable copy of eligible information
• submit a complaint to an applicable data protection authority

Some rights may be limited where information must be retained for security, legal or fraud-prevention purposes.

12. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect authentication information against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure.

However, no online service can guarantee absolute security. Users are responsible for protecting their devices, browser sessions and Google accounts.

13. Children’s Privacy

Digitalboxes AI tools are not intended for children under 13 or anyone below the minimum age required to provide valid consent under the laws of their country.

We do not knowingly collect Google account information from children in violation of applicable law.

14. Changes to This Page

We may update this Data Protection page when our tools, authentication methods, service providers or legal obligations change.

The effective date shown at the top of this page will be updated when a revised version takes effect.
